About the role
ORIRI – Engineering & Project Coordination is looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join the structures team and develop skills in structural design and BIM modelling.
This opportunity is aimed at recent graduates or professionals at the start of their career who want to build solid training in structures, taking part in real projects from conception and calculation through to modelling and the production of project documents.
You will work directly with the engineering team, with technical guidance and progressive autonomy.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the conception and development of structural solutions
- Supporting the calculation and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Structural modelling in calculation software
- BIM modelling of structures in Autodesk Revit
- Producing plans, sections, elevations, details and schedules for the structural project
- Preparing written documents and calculation elements
- Supporting coordination between structure, architecture and the other disciplines
- Taking part in internal BIM coordination processes
- Supporting the team across the different project stages
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Interest in Structures and Seismic Engineering
- Academic knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Knowledge of the Structural Eurocodes
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Interest in or knowledge of Autodesk Revit and the BIM methodology
- Interest in structural calculation and analysis tools
- Strong ability to learn and technical reasoning
- Organisation, rigour and a sense of responsibility
- Team spirit, initiative and a will to grow professionally
Nice to have
No prior professional experience is required. Academic projects, internships or early experience with Revit and design software will be valued.
